29th March 2026 County Singles Results
Matt Thurley beats Neil Tuckey in the final to win his first Hertfordshire singles title. Matt has now won four county titles (two in each year) in his first two seasons playing for us. He now just needs the pairs to join the list of players to have won all four county titles.
27th March 2026 County Singles Draw County Singles Preview
Our final county competition (singles) is being played this Sunday (29/03), offering a final opportunity for players to qualify for the Eastern Counties and English Champion of Champions Events. Pete Cook will be defending his title having won in each of the last two years and will be trying to become the first player to win the county singles title in three consecutive years.

The league season come to a conclusion with Stanstead Abbotts avoiding finishing bottom by winning at SG Strikers. Congratulations to the SG Shadows who secured the league title ahead of KL Blues.
22nd March 2026 Passing of Mick Cook
We're very sad to announce that Mick Cook, long-time county player and former county captain passed away peacefully on Sunday 22nd March.
Mick was one of Hertfordshire's most successful bowlers winning fifteen county titles (1 Pairs, 8 Triples and 6 fours). He won two Eastern Counties Champion of Champion titles (triples and a fours) and also won two English Champion of Champions titles (triples and a pairs).
Our condolences go out to Marilyn, Pete and the rest of Mick's family and friends.
15th March 2026 Hertfordshire win ECCBA League Title
After our 33-3 win over Bedfordshire, we secured the ECCBA league title for the very first time.

After 30+ years of trying, we finally won our first ever Eastern Counties team titles (excluding the Champion of Champions team titles won in 2015/2016 and 2016/2017). An amazing achievement by the team. We now head to the National Championships later this month full of confidence.
